Molecular Products Inc.

Sponsors of Promotional Space

Molecular Products Inc. is a manufacturing firm providing leading technologies for gas processing, gettering applications and orthohydrogen to parahydrogen conversion.

Product Highlights
Sofnolime RG is a unique absorbent for acidic gases (particularly CO2 removal) and gases that are readily hydrolyzed such as H2S, COS and SO2. Sofnolime RG consists of 3mm hard extruded cylindrical pellets that are packed in reactor beds for use in gas, liquid or mixed phase petroleum liquid/gas streams. It will also remove trace amounts of low molecular weight mercaptans in gas sweetening applications. Sofnolime RG offers to the refiner and polymer manufacturer a unique, low capital/operating cost unit capable of yielding product that meets the stringent specifications set for polymer grade ethylene and other gaseous hydrocarbon streams.

Ionex-type Ag 400 is an X-type silver zeolite that is a highly efficient getter material used in the vacuum annulus of cryogenic containers, panels, or transfer lines. Ag400 will remove gaseous hydrogen which slowly out-gases from the steel container shell into the vacuum space in order to preserve ultra-high vacuum levels. Ag400 is a fantastic cost-effective option for gettering applications.

Molecular Products Inc's IONEX-type O-P Catalyst is a solid, granular hydrous ferric oxide. Its high surface area, in conjunction with ferromagnetic properties, results in an unusually effective catalyst for converting orthohydrogen to parahydrogen. IONEX-type O-P Catalyst facilitates reliable, continuous production of liquid hydrogen having high parahydrogen content. The necessity for additional expensive refrigeration equipment to absorb the heat of conversion at the storage site is eliminated, since liquid parahydrogen is transferred to storage directly from the liquefier where the catalysis takes place.

Our chemists are available for projects of both research and production quantities. Molecular Products is ISO 9001:2000 certified.
