gasworld’s 3rd African Industrial Gas Conference. Entitled: Future Investment And The Supply Chain

May 20-22, 2013 | Indaba Hotel & Conference Centre, Fourways, Johannesburg, South Africa

gasworld was thrilled to host its first conference of 2013 in the beautiful African Continent.

Since 2007 gasworld has visited the African region on two separate occasions, each time bringing together a successful gathering of African and international industrial gas and equipment companies.  As an emerging region previous agendas provided our industry decision makers with great knowledge and expertise regarding the challenges and prospects across the continent:

‘The African Continent: Meeting the Challenges of Supply’ - December 2008; Johannesburg, South Africa

‘African Gases Conference: Realising the Growth Opportunity’ - December 2010; Nairobi, Kenya

As gasworld’s third African conference we returned to support the regions’ industrial gas community through providing a unique platform to discuss, debate and converse about the region’s changing dynamics and future investments.

Since recent international investments in the continent’s renowned mineral resources, market growth has seen a predicted surge and consequently equipment developments have increased, exportation has seen a growth of opportunities and complexities, and overall supply and demand has increased in relation to the world’s economy and manufacturing abilities.

With continual developments within the region, and with specific focus given to South Africa, gasworld addressed future investment plans, business opportunities and the complexities of the supply chain, all while assessing the direction of the economy as a consequence.

John Raquet; African Gases Conference 2010

“I think it’s been a very positive meeting, people seem to have met new people, new contacts, and new friends. The aim of the gasworld conference is very simply to bring the gases community together in each region that we bring the gases conference to. I think we have been very successful and achieved this, and believe that our motto ‘discuss, debate, converse’ stands.”
