New higher pressure, high capacity gas purifier from SGD

SGD Inc. has announced the introduction of its new improved high capacity gas purifier housing Model 8000A with a rated operating pressure of 1500 psig.

The Model 8000A is constructed of a machined aluminium shell that accepts a high capacity replaceable cartridge. The shell may be permanently mounted when installed in the gas line and can be serviced without disturbing the line connections.

Spring pressure holds the cartridge tightly against the sealing gaskets to prevent the gas to be purified from bypassing the cartridge. The ¼” NPT female side inlet and top outlet are machined directly into the purifier body eliminating the more fragile connections of previously available units.

The 8000A uses new improved cartridges that can also be used with gas purifier housings already in service supplied by SGD, MATHESON and all other companies offering similar purifiers.
