Sherwood Valve LLC introduces advanced fill valve

Sherwood Valve LLC has introduced a new Advanced Fill Valve for propane bulk tank and engine fuel applications.

The AFV Series features a fast fill rate and promises an optimised fill spray pattern and high filling capacity, improved piston alignment and seal, low differential shutoff and a more durable mechanically assembled poppet seal design. The AFV Series was engineered with the input of customers and propane industry end-users across the United States and internationally.

Sherwood Valve LLC, a Taylor-Wharton International company, provides gas and fluid control solutions for the packaged gas, energy, cooling, high purity and life/medical markets. The firm has been providing quality products for nearly 80 years.

I have had leaking problems with the pv623c valves.
On a new load of tanks ,(34 500 tks.) I had two valves
that came apart when the nozzle was disconnected.
We checked all tanks and found six valves that were
leaking or loose. It appears that the lock tight wasn't
installed on the fine threads below the Acme fitting.
Is there a rebuild kit for this vavle. These were new tanks. ltp
