Praxair (China) Investment Co. Ltd. has signed a combustion equipment contract with Shandong Guangfu Group Co., Ltd. to implement its proprietary oxy-fuel technology.
As one of the leading steel and iron enterprises in Shandong province, North China, Shandong Guangfu represents a key new customer for Shanghai-based Praxair China.
The announcement follows the adoption of Praxair’s combustion technology at other sites in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong and Hubei provinces.
Under the contract, one set of Praxair’s gas injection system including three oxygen gas injectors and other related equipment will be installed at the 100-ton electric arc furnace (EAF) of the steel mill of Shandong Guangfu Group.
