Rotarex Firetec, a business unit of Rotarex SA, has introduced a next-generation constant-flow pressure regulator for fixed fire protection systems that use inert gas (IG).
The lightweight and compact IG pressure regulator modulates constant pressure of between 40-60 bar and is 30% lighter than its competitors.
By reducing constant discharge pressure to this level, the instrument prevents high-pressure waves which can can cause serious structural damage whilst additionally preventing adiabatic freeze-ups, avoiding possible malfunctions.
