Valves are used all along the industrial gas and cryogenic gas supply chains – for production and transportation, for trans-fill operations into storage containers, and in end-use customer piping circuits.

They come in various forms, including globe, gate, ball, diverter, needle, butterfly, pressure relief and diaphragm valves, as well as regulators. Read the other three earlier features – on, respectively, flow control and isolation valves, ball valves, and check valves – at gasworld.com.
