Major player in the industrial gas sector Air Products will be showcasing its range of sustainable, green technologies at the 4th China International Import Expo (CIIE 2021), held from 5th – 10th November in Shanghai, China.
Joining nearly 3,000 exhibitors from 127 countries and regions, Air Products will also reveal its ‘landmark’ projects on hydrogen for mobility, gasification, and carbon capture and utilisation (CCU) in support of a clean energy transition.
The event – the world’s largest import-themed expo – will see Air Products taking a larger booth in the Low-Carbon Energy and Environmental Protection Technology section.
The booth’s ‘hydrogen for mobility’ display will feature an integrated hydrogen model showing the company’s full value-chain solutions. This includes production, liquefication, storage, transportation and fuelling technology systems.
Air Products’ latest ‘mega’ projects will also be presented, including its world-scale green hydrogen-based ammonia production facility in NEOM, Saudi Arabia and a net-zero hydrogen energy complex in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
There will also be a live demonstration of the company’s 70 MPa (Megapascal) hydrogen fuelling station at the 2022 Winter Olympics zone.
Various gas supply solutions will be showcased from air separation to gasification and CCU.
After a successful 2020 expo, Saw Choon Seon, President, Air Products China, said: We are exciting to participate in this international import expo again to further strengthen our partnership with local authorities, customers and partners in supporting industrial sustainable development.”
He added that the technology presented at the expo will help support China reaching its target of carbon neutrality by 2030 and 2060.
The company’s booth is located at 3B4-002 in the Low-Carbon Energy and Environmental Protection Technology Zone of the Technology and Equipment Pavilion in Hall 3.
