A new high-purity regulator, the first of its kind to deliver consistent supply under ultra-low pressure variations for specialized non-corrosive applications, has been introduced by CONCOA.
Ideal for a wide variety of non-corrosive applications including those previously unable to be serviced with a traditional high-purity regulator, the innovative high-purity, ultra-low Series 213 regulator is designed for primary pressure control regardless of supply pressure variations.
Additionally, it is well-suited for maintaining an inert gas blanket or purge on the top of reactive or flammable chemical tanks or systems, providing precise pressure control to fuel systems or BTU calorimeters, purging low-pressure environmental chambers, and attaining precise control for delicate instrument float tables.
With 316L stainless steel diaphragms in the first and second stages, the Series 213 regulator is singularly designed to deliver extremely low outlet pressures over a broad range of flows. Starting at delivery pressures as low as 0.1 psig that can be adjusted in 0.05 to 0.1 psig increments, the series is available in two delivery-pressure ranges, 0.1 to 2.0 psig and 0.1 to 5 psig. Design includes fine-pressure adjustment that is stable over the life of the cylinder and leak integrity of 1 x 10-8 ssc/sec.
Sweden-based equipment manufacturer Gas Control Equipment (GCE) is gearing up for the launch of a number of new products this quarter.
Electronic Fluorocarbons (EFC), headquartered in Massachusetts, utilizes the latest technology for the purification and microanalysis of its legacy fluorinated specialty gases and rare gases for the medical and electronics semiconductor manufacturing industries.
As we head in to 2018, we look back on a very interesting changing market for krypton (Kr), xenon (Xe) and neon (Ne) in 2017. Ne supply this year continued to increase as new plants came on-stream while the demand was growing slowly after the big decline of 2016.
Sherwood Valve, LLC has launched the company’s new, comprehensive 80+ page compressed gas catalog including industrial gas valves, medical valves, propane cylinder valves, alternative energy valves, specialty valves and pressure relief devices.
Month on month the gasworld website continues to be the primary portal for information, on a global scale, about our industry - be it through the provision of news and features, or information in the expansive company directory section. Launched in 2004, it is the only independent online news provider and information portal for the global industrial gas community and the larger end-user markets. The website also now incorporates news for gasworld US and Specialty Gas Report.
