Dansensor has launched a new state-of-the-art analyzer for testing the composition of pressurized gas mixtures, ideal for any application where it is necessary to know the oxygen/CO2 content of such environments.
The MAP Check 3 Pressure is a compact analyzer that continuously measures carbon dioxide and/or oxygen in pressurized gas mixtures that are being delivered directly from a gas mixer, buffer tank or any other pressurized source.
The device is therefore ideal therefore for oxygen and/or CO2 content measurement of a pressurized mixture. Examples might include argon/CO2mixtures for shielding gases in welding applications, or residual oxygen content in a nitrogen stream coming from a nitrogen generator.
The MAP Check 3 Pressure features a user-friendly 5-inch color touch screen for setting parameters and controlling the device, and has excellent data logging capabilities with both USB and ethernet ports for connectivity. It connects seamlessly to Dansensor’s MAP Mix Provectus gas mixer, providing a high degree of quality control over the gas mixture.
If the level of CO2 or oxygen comes close to its pre-selected limits, the MAP Check 3 Pressure will warn the operator. If the limits are exceeded, it will shut the process down, preventing the incorrect mixture from causing potential cost-incurring problems further down the line.
Electronic Fluorocarbons (EFC), headquartered in Massachusetts, utilizes the latest technology for the purification and microanalysis of its legacy fluorinated specialty gases and rare gases for the medical and electronics semiconductor manufacturing industries.
As we head in to 2018, we look back on a very interesting changing market for krypton (Kr), xenon (Xe) and neon (Ne) in 2017. Ne supply this year continued to increase as new plants came on-stream while the demand was growing slowly after the big decline of 2016.
Electronics manufacturing is a highly complex sequence of adding and subtracting material, with the resulting sum yielding circuits sometimes less than one hundred atoms wide. For over 50 years, Moore’s Law has driven an industry to make smaller devices on larger scales.
Sherwood Valve, LLC has launched the company’s new, comprehensive 80+ page compressed gas catalog including industrial gas valves, medical valves, propane cylinder valves, alternative energy valves, specialty valves and pressure relief devices.
Month on month the gasworld website continues to be the primary portal for information, on a global scale, about our industry - be it through the provision of news and features, or information in the expansive company directory section. Launched in 2004, it is the only independent online news provider and information portal for the global industrial gas community and the larger end-user markets. The website also now incorporates news for gasworld US and Specialty Gas Report.
