Within the 2018-2023 timeframe, accordingly, our forecast models predict growth from 5.5% p.a. in a low scenario to 10.5% p.a. in a high scenario. This should see the industry in Ukraine achieve revenues of between $131m to $165m by 2023.
Ukraine’s commercial gas market generates revenues of approximately $100m. This was up from $31m in 2008, indicating an average annual growth rate of 13.4% p.a. for the decade.
During the period of 2008 to 2018 average GDP growth came to 15.6% p.a. when adjusted for inflation. Economic growth in the country has been very high over the last decade, despite a fall of -4.4% during the worst year of the financial crisis. In 2018 the rate was recorded at 19.0% growth.
