Qatar-based gases and cryogenic services company Buzwair Gases has furthered its capabilities with the news that it has succeeded in attaining accreditation as a testing laboratory according to ISO/IEC 17025:2005.
The accreditation is for ‘general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories’.
The company was audited by International Accreditation Service (IAS), with the process requiring thorough testing of all fundamental laboratory components which contribute toward a reliable and accurate production system. The Buzwair laboratory has received the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation in the field of testing of pure and mixture gases.
Buzwair Scientific & Technical Gases and Buzwair Industrial Gases Factories laboratory have established a very efficient system by investing in sophisticated instruments, analyzers and gas chromatographs.
In particular, the accreditation requires calibration traceability, which is an essential qualification required by many of the Qatari Petrochemical companies due to its meticulous importance during the quality control process of petrochemical products.
