One of the world’s top petrochemical product manufacturers, Reliance Industries, has again turned to Servomex for its cutting-edge solutions to ensure the highest product quality while maintaining impeccable process safety.
Servomex delivered a turnkey solution for Reliance, completing the manufacture and supply of a bespoke gas analyzer shelter for its Pure Terephthalic Acid (PTA) plant in Patalganga, India.
The Servomex solution encompassed the commissioning, planning and build of the analyzer house, as well as the installation of its equipment. Servomex also supplied the SERVOTOUGH OxyExact (2200) and SERVOTOUGH SpectraExact (2500) process analyzer systems as part of a $3 bilion project to upgrade Reliance’s manufacturing sites at Patalganga and Dahej in Gujurat.
“This is a great success for the Servomex team in India,” reflected Virlesh Desai, General Manager, Servomex India. “Not only does it demonstrate the company’s ability to build and supply a total gas analysis solution, but also to greatly exceed the solutions being proposed by our competitors.”
Housed within Servomex’s custom-designed analyzer shelter, the OxyExact uses Servomex’s high specification paramagnetic oxygen transducer for optimum process and safety control in general and high temperature applications, while the SpectraExact photometric process analyzer offers single or dual component gas analysis designed to measure corrosive, toxic and flammable sample streams.
