Linde North America has been awarded Norfolk Southern Corporation’s Thoroughbred Chemical Safety Award for 2008.
The award marks the seventh time that Linde North America has been recognised by Norfolk Southern, since the award was instituted 13 years ago.
While Linde North America is a member of The Linde Group, Norfolk Southern Corporation is one of the nation’s premier transportation companies.
Linde North America ships a large portion of its carbon dioxide (CO2) rail fleet with Norfolk Southern, which is the carrier for Linde depots in Alabama, Delaware, Georgia, Ohio, North Carolina, and Virginia. Linde shipped over 2,100 railcars in 2008 without incident, to earn the award.
