Buzwair Gases is proud to announce that through hard work and dedicated staff it has succeeded in attaining accreditation as a testing laboratory according to ISO/IEC 17025:2005 “general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.”

It was audited by International Accreditation Service (IAS) and received accreditation. The process required thorough testing of all fundamental laboratory components which contribute toward a reliable and accurate production system.  Buzwair Scientific & Technical Gases and Buzwair Industrial Gases Factories laboratory have established a very efficient system by investing in sophisticated instruments, analysers and gas chromatographs.

Buzwair laboratory has received the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation in the field of testing of pure and mixture gases.

In particular, the accreditation requires calibration traceability which is an essential qualification required by many of the Qatari Petrochemical companies due to its meticulous importance during the quality control process of petrochemical products as they are predominantly exported globally from Qatar.

“IAS-accredited certifications demonstrates to the marketplace that our laboratory certification practices, including testing, inspection, and product labeling, have been appropriately evaluated and are continually monitored by a recognised accreditation body whose criteria are based on international standards,” said a company statement.

“The ISO/IEC 17025 standard creates a streamlined, holistic approach to determining and regulating the competence of a laboratory which permits international recognition through mutual accreditation systems and agreements. Buzwair Scientific & Technical Gases recognises the need to continually improve and expand its quality system in order to reach its full capability and to remove all technical trade barriers and distinguish Buzwair from its competitors.”
