Nel ASA has today officially opened its new Nel H2Station® factory in Herning, Denmark, a state-of-the-art, large-scale production facility with an annual capacity of 300 hydrogen stations per year.
The facility, as seen in the above time lapse video, has an annual name-plate production capacity of up to 300 units per year of the Nel H2Station® – the most compact hydrogen station currently on the market.
H2 Stations for Europe, US and Asia will run on the same production line.
For Nel, the opening is not just about a new production facility, it represents the start of a new era in hydrogen fuelling infrastructure. Jon André Løkke, CEO of Nel, explained, “The opening of our new H2Station® factory in Herning marks the beginning of a new phase within the entire industry.”
