Airgas, Inc.will exhibit at Safety 2013 presented by The American Society of Safety Engineers - held from June 24 - 27 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Airgas will feature strategic insight and industry perspectives on its cost-effective safety solutions and innovations in personal protection equipment.
Additionally, Airgas safety specialists will host the educational session Safe Handling, Storage and Transportation of Compressed Gas Cylinders on Tuesday, June 25, and review the unique hazards of gases in the workplace, including the safe handling, storage, usage, and labelling to ensure optimal safety.

The session will be led by Lori Carpenter, Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Safety Sales Specialist for the Airgas East region, and Bob Giannini, VP of Safety for the Airgas Northeast region. The session is sponsored by Women in Safety Engineering (WISE).
“Our customers utilise an array of compressed gases including liquefied, non-liquefied, and dissolved varietals,” explains Carpenter. “Our session will focus on the hazards associated with these gases and how to handle, store, identify, and label them to ensure a safe and secure workplace.”
