Weldship Corporation is significantly reducing its carbon footprint with the installation of a new solar power system at its Bethlehem, PA manufacturing facility.

Weldship has set-up 831 solar panels across its facility, covering 15,000 square feet, with the excess power from the solar panels supplied back to the grid via Pennsylvania Power and Light.

The million-dollar project has greatly reduced the need for conventional electricity production, allowing Weldship to avoid emissions of 1,077,326 lbs of CO2 over the course of two years.
