Weldship Corporation is significantly reducing its carbon footprint with the installation of a new solar power system at its Bethlehem, PA manufacturing facility.
Weldship has set-up 831 solar panels across its facility, covering 15,000 square feet, with the excess power from the solar panels supplied back to the grid via Pennsylvania Power and Light.
The million-dollar project has greatly reduced the need for conventional electricity production, allowing Weldship to avoid emissions of 1,077,326 lbs of CO2 over the course of two years.
Tube trailer, tank trailer and ISO container manufacturer Weldship Corporation has further expanded its capabilities, now providing CNG (compressed natural gas) Standard, Jumbo and Super-Jumbo Tube Trailers.
