As it continues to make greater strides in the manufacture of specialised helium equipment, Cryo Diffusion recently demonstrated this progress with the supply of a 4000 litre liquid helium tank mounted on a standard 20 ft ISO skid to SOL HELLAS.
SOL HELLAS AE, part of the SOL Group, is based in Greece and the helium skid will be used for the transportation of helium from storage site to end-user.
Cryo Diffusion is one of the few companies in the world today that manufactures this size of specialised helium equipment and Philippe Doinel, General Manager of Cryo Diffusion, said, “Cryo Diffusion has developed considerable expertise in the manufacture of specialised helium equipment over the last 25 years, we see us focusing more on this business line in the future and making critical breakthroughs considering the importance of helium to so many applications and the worldwide shortage of this rare gas.”
Cryo Diffusion has previously been awarded a contract by Air Liquide for helium valve boxes and vacuum insulated lines for the Qatar Helium 2 Project. The company’s helium valve boxes and vacuum insulated lines will be used on the world’s largest helium liquefier to be managed and operated by RasGas and installed in RasLaffan, Qatar.
Established in 1965, Cryo Diffusion designs and manufactures the full range of vacuum super-insulated cryogenic equipment for liquefied gases for international projects. The company is a leading supplier of products for the long-term Cryo preservation of biological materials and offers a complete cryobank management system. All products are manufactured in France at the firm’s facility in Lery, near Paris, with over 70% of products exported globally.
Since 2001, Cryo Diffusion has been part of the VRV Group.
