Crynorm Systems has received an order for a turnkey LNG fuel system for two gas tankers.
The company will engineer, produce and supervise the installation of the LNG system, after Anthony Veder and Cryonorm Systems reached agreement to partner in this ‘important project’.
“This is a milestone for both companies,” said Jos Glorie, Business Development Director at Cryonorm Systems.
Cryonorm Systems is part of the Cryonorm consortium and a leading designer and installer of turn-key small and medium LNG systems.
Anthony Veder was established in 1937 as a ship-owner and port agent but since acquiring its first gas tanker in 1969, the company has been involved in gas shipping and all segments of the gas market, from CO2 to ethylene and LPG to LNG.
Air Products’ PRISM® Membrane technology is enabling vehicles to run on methane at quasar energy group’s biomethane refuelling facility in Columbus, Ohio.
Cryonorm Systems, based close to Amsterdam, The Netherlands – leading designer and supplier of tailor made cryogenic systems and vaporisers – believes that natural gas (LNG) could form a bigger part of the transport energy mix as a lower-carbon fuel.
Month on month the gasworld website continues to be the primary portal for information, on a global scale, about our industry - be it through the provision of news and features, or information in the expansive company directory section. Launched in 2004, it is the only independent online news provider and information portal for the global industrial gas community and the larger end-user markets. The website also now incorporates news for gasworld US and Specialty Gas Report.
