The storage tanks of Zhejiang LNG receiving terminal constructed by Shanghai TGE, a CIMC Enric Group company, are reported to have successfully completed the first unloading from an LNG carrier.
The cool-down and loading of storage tanks A and C of the terminal were also completed.
According to a press release, the last storage tank B would also be cooled down and loaded on 8th October. This follows the successful hand-over of the tanks in September.
On 7th September, the three LNG storage tanks constructed by Shanghai TGE for the Ningbo LNG project in the Zhejiang province of China were mechanically completed and delivered to the customer.
The Ningbo project is the first major project that TGE was awarded in China after its acquisition by CIMC Enric Group.
