The recently introduced PID-T range of actuators from Parker Hannifin, available with bore sizes up to 320mm, extends operating life and reduces maintenance costs.
The highly competitive range of ISO 15552 actuators is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. Further still, due to its anodized barrel and die cast end plates, the range offers excellent corrosion resistance – increasing the number of different environments they can be installed in, extending the operating life, and reducing maintenance costs.
The standard operating range is stated as -20°C to 80°C and features both a magnetic piston and adjustable cushioning as standard, which enables higher speeds, shorter cycle times and reduced noise, therefore increasing productivity. High temperature versions and ATEX derivatives are available on request.
Fully supported with standard ISO mountings, the PID-T range is directly interchangeable with competitive units.
Electronic Fluorocarbons (EFC), headquartered in Massachusetts, utilizes the latest technology for the purification and microanalysis of its legacy fluorinated specialty gases and rare gases for the medical and electronics semiconductor manufacturing industries.
As we head in to 2018, we look back on a very interesting changing market for krypton (Kr), xenon (Xe) and neon (Ne) in 2017. Ne supply this year continued to increase as new plants came on-stream while the demand was growing slowly after the big decline of 2016.
Electronics manufacturing is a highly complex sequence of adding and subtracting material, with the resulting sum yielding circuits sometimes less than one hundred atoms wide. For over 50 years, Moore’s Law has driven an industry to make smaller devices on larger scales.
Flow-Cal, Inc. achieved record attendance at its fifteenth annual Users Group conference. This year’s event, held in the Uptown/Galleria area of Houston, Texas, brought in over 300 industry leaders and 70 companies..
