Servomex has made key appointments across Europe, Middle East and India, designed to maximise regional business presence since the incorporation of the three regions into a single Servomex business area in 2012.

Jan Hordijk and Virlesh Desai have been appointed to the positions of Middle East Manager of Sales and Marketing and General Manager, India respectively.

Servomex’s European sales team has also been strengthened with key appointments in Northern and Southern Europe.

In Germany, Andreas Treder’s 18 years of technical sales management experience in analytical instrumentation enables him to take charge as Regional Sales Manager for Northern Europe, with responsibility for regional sales teams in the UK, Netherlands and Germany.

In Italy Roberto Zecchini brings extensive experience in process analyser system sales to the position of Regional Sales Manager Southern Europe and Africa, helping to create a higher profile for Servomex in the Mediterranean.

Strengthened in Americas

Servomex is also strengthening its senior management team stateside, with the appointment of Martin Cox as the new General Manager for the Americas region.

Cox joined Servomex as an apprentice in 1983 and has grown with the company, demonstrating efficiency, drive and leadership in each role – most recently by overseeing the transformation of Servomex’s OEM sensor business into the successful Hummingbird Sensing Technology brand.

“We are making significant investments in the Americas and our objectives reflect our confidence in the region,” said Chuck Hurley, Sales and Marketing Director.

“Martin’s experience and fresh thinking comes at an exciting time with record sales, a new business centre in Brazil and our plans for the new building in Houston now confirmed.”

“I have known Martin for several years and I am excited by what he will bring to the role,” Hurley added.

Cox himself said of the development, “I am looking forward to this new challenge at a very exciting time for Servomex.”

“There is a lot of work to be done to maintain our sales record and constantly improve the business with the help of our partners.”

The appointment is supported by the promotion of Rudy Gonzalez to Customer Support Manager, Americas.

Rudy joined Servomex five years ago, most recently taking a two-year secondment to lead the successful development of operations in the company’s Sao Paulo business and service centre.
