FIBA Technologies, Inc. has expanded its capabilities with the acquisition of AMKO Service Company, a provider of compressed gas equipment services and products.
Formerly a subsidiary of Praxair Inc., AMKO Service Company operates with locations in Ohio, Arkansas and California and was founded in 1965.
For Millbury, MA-based FIBA Technologies, the deal combines two premier providers of equipment and services to the gas containment industry. Now with locations in Massachusetts, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, Montana, Ohio, California, Arkansas, India and Taiwan, FIBA is ‘proud to expand its ability to offer customers quality services on a timely basis from numerous locations worldwide’.
AMKO specializes in repairing and recertifying high pressure tube trailers and in building and servicing cryogenic and CO2 trailers and tanks. With over 100 employees and 50 years of experience, AMKO carries a reputation for integrity and quality in the industry.
