The Harris Products Group is announcing a longer warranty for all of its industrial regulators – extending it from three years to seven years. The company made the announcement at the FABTECH/AWS trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Harris is a manufacturer of brazing, soldering, welding and cutting equipment and alloys. The company’s product portfolio includes industrial-grade gas regulators used in a variety of applications, including gas cutting, welding, brazing and soldering. They are also used in for welding shielding gas and gas distribution systems. Harris also offers a complete line of specialty gas regulators for rare, high purity, corrosive and other gases used in special applications.
The new seven-year warranty applies to all regulators, making it one of the longest warranties in the industry. “We’re able to offer this longer warranty because of the quality, durability and technology built into every regulator,” said Randy Edenfield, director of North American product development/R&D. Harris regulators sold in the US are manufactured at the company’s state-of-the-art facility in Gainesville, Georgia.
“The number one reason a regulator fails is due to contamination or debris in the seat. All of our regulators are built with a one-piece encapsulated seat, including a 10-micron filter,” Edenfield said. “The seat is really the heart of the regulator, and we’re ensuring it contains the best components available for optimum performance.”
Ira Bennett, director of marketing, said the company is able to offer the longer warranty because of the regulators’ proven track record.
“We’ve seen regulators last for decades when properly maintained and serviced,” Bennett said. “We’re pleased to be able to offer a longer-lasting product to save our customers money and help them protect their investment in equipment.”
The warranty applies to the popular Model 450, released at last year’s FABTECH show, as well as the Model 25GX, the next generation of Harris industrial regulator being released at this year’s event.
David J. Nangle, president of The Harris Products Group, said the warranty change reflects Harris’ commitment to quality and customer-centric focus.
“Our team – from product development through manufacturing to customer service – is dedicated to delivering superior, professional-grade products for a variety of applications. With high quality, we help them protect their investment and save money in the long run,” Nangle said.
