In July of this year Linde and Chart held a three-day training program for members of the Linde Distributor Association (LDA) at Chart’s Canton, Georgia, facility.
This was the second and final opportunity in 2013 for the LDA members to attend one of these unique distributor-focused training programs.
What makes this format different from Chart’s technical training programs is the training is developed using the knowledge and experience from both the global gas producer and the cryogenic equipment provider, resulting in a more encompassing and in-depth training. In addition to the usual product and theoretical instruction the participant received hands-on demonstrations, new innovation introductions, marketing tools and suggestions, gas market trends, safety practices discussions, and value selling techniques.
Linde distributors from around the country participated in these classes which featured Jim Lisiecki, Distributor Program Manager of Linde LLC, and Tim Neeser, VP – Engineered Systems, Marketing & NPD of Chart Inc., as the primary instructors, with contributions from Chart Product Managers, Sam Cook and Bob Knight, and Chart’s D&S Distributor Sales Manager, Gary Degenhardt.
Participants, who were surveyed after the three-day session, indicated they received incredible value from attending the training. It is anticipated that similar seminars will be offered in 2014.
In June of this year MVE-Chart celebrated 50 years of operations at the New Prague, Minnesota, facility, a cornerstone of Chart’s Distribution & Storage Group (D&S).
Houston, Texas, based Thigpen Energy has selected Chart for the provision of LNG fueling equipment and supplies – with construction already underway. Earlier this week it was announced that the company’s eastern European outfit, Chart Ferox, was chosen to construct LNG filling station in Poland.
