Set near the Southern edge of the Rockies, The Broadmoor plays host to the hundreds of participants who have flown in to gather for GAWDA’s pivotal event of 2012.
The stunning views provide the ultimate backdrop for an exciting, positive meeting, raising awareness about the latest safety issues relevant to our business, and looking forward to the year ahead.
The 68th annual convention began last night with the President’s Welcome Reception, which saw hundreds of delegates gathering at the Broadmoor’s poolside. The views were breathtaking in more ways than one, as delegates adjusted to being over 6,000 feet above sea level.
After a relaxed evening by the pool, today delegates can look forward to a morning of presentations from those within the industry, and those working outside of it.
Over the next few days delegates will hear from a range of inspirational speakers, including Bill Taylor of Fast Company magazine, Richard W. Couch Jr, founder and CEO of Hypertherm Inc., and Brent Gover, founder of Evergreen Consulting.
All will be sharing their thoughts and experiences, providing valuable advice and information for GAWDA’s delegates.

Month on month the gasworld website continues to be the primary portal for information, on a global scale, about our industry - be it through the provision of news and features, or information in the expansive company directory section. Launched in 2004, it is the only independent online news provider and information portal for the global industrial gas community and the larger end-user markets. The website also now incorporates news for gasworld US and Specialty Gas Report.
