TÜV Rheinland Industrial Solutions (TRIS) and TÜV Rheinland AIA Services are holding an open house for the pressure equipment manufacturers that sell products in the USA and abroad.

The seminar will educate attendees about regulatory requirements for accessing global markets as well as offer a tour of the testing laboratory, networking opportunities and lunch. The event is scheduled for Thursday, December 6, from 10 to 2pm (EST) at 100 Industrial Boulevard in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania.

Invited to attend are owners, executive personnel, business development and quality managers and engineers in the pressure equipment industry. Attendees will learn about international certification and conformity assessment. Compliance and testing requirements discussed at the event will cover the European Directives and the following countries: USA, Japan, India, China, Europe, South Africa, Russia, New Zealand, and others.

The presenter is Bernard Hrubala, General Manager for TÜV Rheinland AIA Services, Manager for TRIS, Governor of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Pressure Equipment and Plant Technology. He has more than 30 years of experience in the pressure equipment, conformity assessment, codes and standards compliance, jurisdictional requirements, quality assurance, inspection, and auditing. Hrubala is qualified as an Authorised Nuclear Inspector Supervisor by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors, with demonstrated and comprehensive working knowledge of NQA-1, ISO 9001-2000, PED, API, ASME, NBIC, and other local, state, national and international conformity assessment programs.
