Servomex is strengthening its senior management team with the appointment of Martin Cox as the new general manager for the Americas region.

Cox joined Servomex as an apprentice in 1983 and has grown with the company, demonstrating efficiency, drive and leadership in each role – most recently by overseeing the transformation of Servomex’s OEM sensor business into the successful Hummingbird Sensing Technology brand.

Already well known and very highly respected within the industry, it is understood that Cox will relocate to the Houston area with his family.

The appointment is supported by the promotion of Rudy Gonzalez to customer support manager, Americas.

Servomex has also made key personnel appointments across Europe, Middle East and India to its EMEA sales management team. The appointments are designed to maximize regional business presence since the incorporation of the three regions into a single Servomex business area in 2012.

Jan Hordijk and Virlesh Desai have been appointed to the positions of Middle East manager of sales and marketing and general manager, India, respectively. Servomex’s European sales team has been strengthened with key appointments in Northern and Southern Europe; in Germany, Andreas Treder has taken charge as regional sales manager for Northern Europe, while in Italy Roberto Zecchini has been named regional sales manager Southern Europe and Africa.

Meanwhile, Servomex brand Hummingbird Sensing Technology, manufacturer of gas sensing technologies for medical and industrial markets, has announced the appointment of Dominic Corsale as general manager.

Corsale brings to Hummingbird a wealth of experience gained through 35 years pioneering medical sensing technologies. His achievements include the development of respiratory gas measurement products that significantly reduce patient risk, the development of the SARA multiplex mass spectrometer system, and the founding of Marquette Gas Analysis. He joins Hummingbird at a pivotal point in its development, as the business builds on the ‘exceptional success’ achieved since it launched in 2010.
