Sherwood Valve has restructured its Customer Care Team to focus and better serve our customers’ needs. The company has expanded its sales team this year from three regional sales managers to eight regional sales managers across the country, a key account executive and a new vice-president of Sales.

All of which are said to be bringing ‘a wealth of knowledge in managing OEM and distributor relationships’ to the team.

Mike Palinkas becomes the vice-president of Sales and Tim Madden is the key account manager.

Prior to Sherwood, Palinkas served as vice-president of sales for a manufacturer of different types of instrumentation fittings and valves, and his experience includes managing relationships with manufacturing representatives, distributors and end-users in steel mills, paper mills, power plants, pharmaceutical companies and other industrial markets.

Madden joined Sherwood Valve in 2011, having previously held positions as a national sales manager for compressed gas industry companies and with over 10 years experience of selling compressed gas valves, fittings, fill plant components and manifold systems both domestically and internationally.

Other appointments as part of the restructuring and expansion include:

  • Gregg Carr, Regional Sales Manager - West
  • Dan Ellsworth, Regional Sales Manager – Northeast
  • John Foster, Regional Sales Manager – Southeast
  • Arnie Lockstein, Regional Sales Manager – Mid Atlantic
  • Bill Matson, Regional Sales Manager – Midwest
  • Johnny Musgrove, Regional Sales Manager – Southwest
  • Rob Sufana, Regional Sales Manager, Lower Midwest
  • Mark Vozar, Regional Sales Manager – Ohio Valley

“We are confident that our newly expanded team located in regions across the US will enable us to better meet the needs of our entire customer base and expand into new industries and markets,” said Ron Auletta, CEO & president.
