A-Gas announced a number of management changes for the New Year, chief among them being Ken Logan’s relocation to the US at the start of 2013 to become president/managing director of A-Gas Americas.
The role, set for an initial two-year period, will see Logan take overall responsibility for the company’s three US businesses, RemTec, Coolgas and A-Gas Performance Chemicals.
Logan will be responsible for coordinating and developing the activities of the three businesses and, in particular, to develop and implement the company’s strategy for the North American refrigerant market – combining the respective strengths of Coolgas and RemTec.
Local management teams will be unchanged under the leadership of Richard Marcus (RemTec), Jason Crawford (Coolgas) and Steve Galaton (A-Gas Performance Chemicals), all of whom will be reporting direct to Logan.
Meanwhile in other regions, John Ormerod takes over primary responsibility for A-Gas’ UK business in the role of business director, A-Gas UK, Mike Gorham becomes regional business development director responsible for Europe and the Middle East, and John Billows is the group technical director, responsible for overseeing all group technical projects.
