Proven Energy, the worldwide leading provider of robust, reliable wind turbines, has announced a new wave of renewable energy in the Indian market.
The National Centre for Antarctic and Ocean Research, an autonomous research and development institution of the Department of Ocean Development (DOD), government of India and Ministry of Earth Sciences, have installed a Proven 6kW wind turbine at its headquarters in Goa, India.
The idea behind installing the wind turbine is to trial it in Goa, India before then relocating it to the Maitri Station in Antarctica. This will make it the third small scale wind turbine installed at the Maitri Station.
