Linde has today (27th April) reported “strong” first quarter (Q1) 2023 financial results, with a net income of $1.5bn.
The industrial gas giant’s sales for Q1 were $8.1bn, flat versus prior year or 3% above when excluding negative currency impact.
Operating profit for the quarter was $1.9bn and adjusted operating profit totalling $2.2bn was up 16% versus the prior year.
Q1 operating cash flow of $1.9bn decreased 5% versus the prior year.
