Nippon Gases Deutschland – a European operating company in Nippon Sanso Holdings Corporation (NSHD) – has revealed that it will build a new plant for the purification and liquefaction of carbon dioxide (CO2).
Having signed a strategic agreement with VERBIO Vereinigte BioEnergie AG (VERBIO), the company plans to construct the biogenic CO2 plant near to VERBIO’s bioethanol production facility in Zorbig, Germany.
An additional plant will be built in the ‘immediate vicinity’ for the further processing of the CO2 into dry ice.
