SIAD Macchine Impianti is proud to announce the construction of a new Air Seperation Unit (ASU) in Sweden on behalf of Yara-Praxiar.
The plant will be constructed in Perstorp Industrial Park, one of the main manufacturing hubs of the province of Scania, in southern Sweden.
It will supply gases to industrial, food and medical customers in the southern part of Sweden and eastern part of Denmark - the so called Öresunds Region, one of the best growing regions in Scandinavia.
SIAD Macchine Impianti has been working on, and planning, the entire project since the summer of 2010, as well as on the construction of all of the main modules, and it is now finishing onsite mechanical and instrumental assembly.
A spokesman from SIAD Macchine Impianti, said, “The start-up is planned for the end of next October and it shall also include a training programme conducted by our technicians in relation to the process, management and maintenance. It shall have been completed in record time, little more than two years in total.”
“The unit shall produce oxygen, nitrogen and argon, and shall, when operating at full capacity, produce 85000 tonnes each year of oxygen, nitrogen and argon and most of it in liquid form.”
“Furthermore, our logistical capabilities allowed us in only one month to organise exceptional transport with dozens of trucks and ships, which contributed to us winning an important challenge in the Scandinavian market, where selling plants to large Gas Industry is the best reference possible.”
