Speciality chemical and gases management expert A-Gas has augmented a robust Business Continuity Plan with specific steps to account for coronavirus.
That’s according to a company announcement made by A-Gas’ CEO Andrew Ambrose earlier this week.
“As coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to impact the global community, I want to personally update you on the steps we have taken to ensure business continuity for all our customers around the world,” Ambrose said.
“Based on guidance from the World Health Organisation and information from local government/health authorities in all regions, we have augmented our already robust Business Continuity Plan with specific steps to account for COVID-19.”
“We have asked our teams worldwide to work remotely were possible. We still have operational team members onsite to ensure our customers remain supported, however, we are operating shift patterns to help manage risk and best protect our team.”
“We have also put in place a number of travel measure for both employees and visitors as far as possible to limit face to face meetings.”
“We have also taken extra precautions such as enhanced cleaning regimes and sanitisation across our sites and offices to help protect our staff.”
A-Gas also said that it is keen to work closely together with a shared focus on ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the people in its respective organisations.
In the current situation, the Bristol-based company remains committed to maintaining its business operations and ensuring its customers continue to receive the highest quality service possible without disruption.
