Jake Short, 31, formerly of Kansas City, joins the UK-based company from its American sister company.
Speaking about his appointment, Short said, “I am delighted to be in the UK working with such a great team. Rapid Recovery was launched in the UK last year. It is a bespoke, F-Gas compliant refrigerant recovery service with high recovery rates – approximately ten times faster than traditional recovery units. The main benefit to contractors is that they are able to outsource this work to someone who is a specialist in the field of recovery.”
Rapid Recovery has a network of recovery vehicles and engineers in place to give refrigeration contractors national coverage and is available to go on site at short notice to tackle jobs of all sizes. A-Gas provides recovery services to a wide range of industries, including refrigeration, HVAC, demolition, and marine. The Rapid Recovery team will take care of all aspects of the work, from start to finish, including the F-Gas Regulations’ paperwork and hazardous waste documentation.
Looking at what has been achieved over the past quarter of a century, it is hard not to be impressed by A-Gas and how rapidly its operations have grown from its beginnings in Bristol, UK, to a dominant force in the refrigerants market, on a global scale.
