Air Liquide’s François Abrial was unanimously elected President of the Asia Industrial Gas Association (AIGA) for the term 2018-2020 at the organisation’s recent 51st Board meeting in Shanghai, China.
Abrial, who supervises Air Liquide’s activities in Asia Pacific, said, “I am happy to be associated with AIGA and look forward to speeding up the activities that have been already undertaken by the association along with national affiliates that would raise the standard of safety, occupational health and environmental care across Asia in the manufacture, use and handling of industrial gases.”
Abrial is Executive Vice-President, Asia Pacific Hub and has been a Member of the Executive Committee at Air Liquide since 2011.
