Air Liquide is partnering the ‘Science près de chez vous’ (Science near you) event in the Paris region, introducing industrial gases through a series of playful demonstrations.

As part of the event, set up by Ile de Science in Gif-sur-Yvette (Essonne), researchers from the group are to run a stand displaying ‘gases in all of their states’ – a series of playful demonstrations involving liquid nitrogen at -196°C.

Air Liquide will also partner INSERM (French national institute of health and medical research) during the event organised on the Campus des Cordeliers, in Paris’ 5th arrondissement.

The group is also going into partnership with the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie, on the occasion of the Week-end Gratuit (Free Weekend) from 22nd to 24th November.

At the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie, Air Liquide will present an exhibition until July 2011 on hydrogen, a clean energy carrier, as part of the Observatoire des Innovations (Innovation Observatory).
