Effective May 1, 2007, or as contracts permit, Air Products has announced it will increase schedule pricing for liquid argon by 15 to 25 percent, liquid helium by 30 to 40 percent, and liquid-bulk oxygen and nitrogen by 10 to 15 percent for merchant customers in North America.

Additionally, the company will increase its monthly service charge schedule pricing by 15 percent.

The pricing initiatives are being implemented to cover the continued
escalating production costs of helium, argon, oxygen and nitrogen, as well as rising equipment replacement and maintenance costs for customer storage and supply systems.
