Representatives from Air Products visited the Pueblo Community College (PCC) to present two cheques to Southwest Colorado Community College (SCCC) through the Pueblo Community College Foundation.

PCC offers a welding programme that prepares students for careers as welding engineers, manufacturing engineers, application engineers, sales engineers, and project engineers or managers.

Air Products has been impressed with the training that SCCC offers to the people of southwestern Colorado and wanted to show its appreciation and support through a substantial monetary donation.

Representatives, Elizabeth Ann O’Hare and Darrin McCarty, came from the Doe Canyon Helium Plant in Cahone, to present the donation to the PCC Foundation on behalf of the PCC welding faculty and students.

SCCC is honoured to be associated with Air Products and hopes that the donation will be the first of many such investments within the welding programme.
