Air Products has been awarded a long-term contract by JCET STATS ChipPAC Korea Ltd (JSCK) to supply tonnage quantities of nitrogen (N2) to its new production facility in Incheon, South Korea.

The new on-site N2 plant is expected to come on-stream this year and will be built, owned and operated by the Tier One player. It will produce gaseous N2 for JSCK’s new facility in the Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ) in the North Pacific rim country.

As one of the leading semiconductor packaging and test services providers for global customers, JSCK’s new production facility will use Air Products’ N2 to manufacture advanced flip chip, wirebond and 3D packaging solutions.
