Specialty gases produced at the site will be supplied in quantities ranging from 10 litres at 150 bar cylinders up to 50 litres at 200 bar high-pressure and large-volume cylinders.

Strategically located at the centre of the North Pacific rim country, Ochang has been developed as an industrial complex for the high-tech industries. As such, Air Products’ facility will serve the growing automotive, electronics, analytical, bio-healthcare, petrochemical and refining industries in the region.

Air Products are the leading industrial gas company in South Korea, occupying a market share of 27% in 2014. The US-based corporation is heavily investing in the region over the course of the next two years with three new plants – two oxygen (O2) and one nitrogen (N2) – set to come on-stream for glass and electronics manufacturers.
