Air Products would like to provide an update to hydrogen (H2) fuelling customers affected by an unexpected disruption to its H2 supply chain.
Green Car Reports stated that H2 pumps around LA are out of fuel, forcing fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) owners to seek alternative options.
gasworld reached out to Air Products spokesman Arthur George, to gain some insight.
He said, “We are actively working to resolve this unexpected disruption, which has been caused by a contemporaneous series of unrelated issues at several liquid H2 production and supply sites. We are addressing the matter as rapidly as we can and are hopeful to have the situation remedied and have restored regular H2 supply in the early days of August. We regret any inconvenience that may have resulted.”
