Air Products has announced the renewal of three separate long-term supply agreements with Tesoro Corporation to provide Tesoro’s refineries in California with the continued supply of hydrogen for the production of cleaner burning transportation fuels.
Tesoro, a major western United States refiner, will be supplied a total of over 100 MMSCFD (million standard cubic feet per day) of hydrogen for its Golden Eagle refinery in Martinez, east of San Francisco, and for its Southern California refinery in Wilmington, Calif.
“We have supplied hydrogen to Tesoro’s refineries since the early 1990s, and we are pleased to extend our outstanding relationship,” said Jeffrey Lockett, western Area Manager for Air Products.
“These long-term agreements demonstrate our history of reliable hydrogen supply to Tesoro, our largest California hydrogen customer.$quot;
