Last week, Air Products released details of a new supply contract with Samsung in Korea. According to terms, Air Products will provide gaseous nitrogen, oxygen and argon to Samsung Mobile Display’s (SMD) latest Active-matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode plant, located in Tanjeong, Korea.
Air Products plans to build a new air separation unit (ASU) and pipeline at the Tanjeong site. In addition, the North American industrial gases provider will supply gaseous nitrogen as well as other bulk gases via pipeline to SMD’s two large-scale TFT-LCD facilities in Cheonan.
