Air Products latest acquisition, of Poly-Flow Engineering LLC (PFE), reflects the firm’s targeted driver into the semiconductor equipment sector.
The latest acquisition, PFE, is an equipment manufacturer for the semiconductor industry, based in Albuquerque, NM.
Jae Woon You, General Manager for Electronic Equipment EES at Air Products, described the take-over as a, ‘good fit’. He said in a statement, “Theacquisition of Poly-Flow Engineering is a good fit with our existing equipment business and should be immediately accretive to our bottom line. The combination of the talented and experienced Poly-Flow team and Air Products’global capabilities and services infrastructure will bring long-term benefits to our customers.”
PFEhas 100 employees and manufactures a range of equipment designed to enhance chemical delivery and precision cleaning for leading semiconductor manufacturers. The company also provides equipment for the medical, optical fiber and solar industries.
