AMETEK Land, one of the major innovators in infrared non-contact temperature measurement and combustion and environmental monitoring equipment, is celebrating 70 years of business.
The company is using its 70th anniversary year to build on its reputation for providing accurate and innovative temperature measurement solutions and investing in and creating new products.
Justin Smith, Managing Director of AMETEK since 2015, explains, “Our vison during this, our 70th anniversary year, is to develop products that are geared not only to our current core business sectors in heavy processing industries, like steel, but also to the next generation of manufacturing. Those products will be affordable as well as help industries, such as aluminium, glass, metals industrial gas and power, to meet the demands of an increasingly competitive world.”
As markets focus on producing lighter and more versatile materials, AMETEK has responded and extended its temperature measurement solutions for aluminium, speciality steels and carbon fibre production.
