Fluidized-bed freezers are the standard equipment for high capacity Individually Quick Frozen (IQF) freezing in the food industry for a wide variety of food products like fruits, vegetables and seafood products.

Now, a next generation cryogenic fluidized freezer solution has been developed, offering an improved overall performance by addressing the major disadvantages of traditional fluidized-bed freezers by being easier to set-up and operate while delivering a more affordable CAPEX and smaller footprint than other machines already available on the market.

Conventional mechanical fluidized-bed freezers are known to be cumbersome and expensive, requiring a larger footprint due mainly to the spacious design required to accommodate huge vaporizers. These vaporizers also harbour food particles and dirt, making them difficult to clean and thereby creating potential food safety hazards during the freezing process.
