SIAD Most football club has been promoted to the highest division in the Czech Republic’s championship league.

After four matches the football club currently lies in 7th place in the general rankings.

Last June 7000 people took part in the event organised at the Most football stadium to celebrate the promotion of SIAD Most -the football club owned by SIAD’s branch in the Czech Republic- to the top division of the championship league.

The event drew many important personalities from the world of football; amongst them Josef Masopust and Pavel Nedvéd, the two memorable Czech football players who both won the \\$quot;Golden Ball\\$quot; award. Petr Kabiceck, president of the club and Managing Director of SIAD Czech, was very enthusiastic about the promotion.

So too was Bernardo Sestini, who represented SIAD’s Italian headquarters and who stressed the commitment of the club to enhancing the lives of younger players: “In an area of the country where unemployment is so high and where youth problems such as alcohol and drugs are becoming more and more evident, we are pleased to be able to influence young boys to adopt a positive lifestyle such as that represented by sport.”

Since the championship restarted and with four matches played - two won and two lost - SIAD Most’s score is now six and the club now lies 7th in the general rankings. The club’s goal for this year is, however, to remain in the top division of the Czech league championship.
